What actually makes a landing page convert

Not more sections. Not more logos. A landing page that converts has one job and gets out of the way.

What actually makes a landing page convert

A landing page has one job: make the next step obvious. Everything on the page should support that, or it shouldn't be there.

The hero doesn't need five bullet points and three badges. It needs one sentence about what you do, who it's for, and a button that makes sense.

Below the fold, each section should answer one question: what's the problem, how do you solve it, why should someone believe you. Stacking stats, logos, and testimonials into every section just adds noise.

Animation should only be used if it makes the hierarchy clearer — a section fading in as you scroll, a number counting up once. If removing an animation makes the page feel calmer, remove it.

The final call to action shouldn't have to convince anyone. If the page did its job, the visitor already decided. The button just needs to be easy to find.
